Peopoll rules, and the good-to-knows
Quick answer
One account, one answer per poll, and no result until you answer. You can take your answer back and answer again from your Answered tab. Hide one poll from your profile, or hide your whole Answered tab in Settings. Your answers always count in the totals; only what others can see changes.
What can and can't you do on Peopoll?
You can
- Ask a question in any of 14 categories, with 2 to 5 options
- Answer any poll once, in one tap
- Take your answer back and answer again
- Compare with friends you follow
- Comment, like, save and share
- Hide what you have answered, or go private
- Archive your own polls
- Delete your account from the app
You can't
- See a result before you answer
- Answer the same poll twice
- See a list of who voted
- Pay to promote a poll or move a number
- Use Peopoll under 16
- Post profanity; the filter catches it
- Flood the feed; rate limits apply
- Stay visible to someone you have blocked
Can you change your answer?
Yes. Go to your profile, open the Answered tab, tap the ⋯ on the poll and choose Remove my vote. Then answer again. The count updates; it never counts you twice. The same option is in the ⋯ menu on the poll itself.
Can you hide just one poll?
Yes. Same menu, Hide from profile. It disappears from your Answered tab for everyone else. Find it again in Settings → Hidden polls and tap Unhide.
Should phones be banned in schools?

What does Hide Answered Polls do?
Your Answered tab disappears for everyone, followers included. You also drop out of “friends answered this”, so friends can't compare with you on those polls. Your answers still count in every total; only what other people can see changes.
Hide Liked Polls does the same for your Liked tab.
What does a private account change?
You approve who follows you. Your polls stay public; what you have answered and liked, and who you follow, is visible only to approved followers. People already following you keep access.

What happens when you archive a poll?
Archiving is for polls you asked. The poll stops taking answers and moves to your Archived tab; all of its insights and data are kept. Nobody can vote on it after that.
What about sensitive polls, blocking and reporting?
A creator can mark a poll as mature. Mature polls are hidden behind a tap unless you turn on Show NSFW Content in Settings. Blocking someone removes them from your feed and you from theirs; you can manage them in Settings → Blocked Accounts. Reporting sends a poll, comment or profile to people who read every report.
